Since she began collecting in the 1960s, Ingvild Goetz has been assembling one of the most impressive photography collections in Europe, now housed in an extraordinary museum building designed by architects Herzog & de Meuron. Goetz has consistently loaned works to promote a wider public reception. Published on the occasion of an exhibition at Villa Stuck in Munich, Street Life and Home Stories features the work of 25 artists from the collection who transform city streets and domestic environments into staged scenarios.
